Turmeric And Her Magical Powers

Turmeric: I love turmeric. I use turmeric everyday; it is so good for me. Turmeric has a deep yellow color and traditionally is used as an Indian spice. Turmeric originates from Southern Asia and dates back to thousands of years ago. Ayurvedic medicine uses turmeric for warming the body and super strength.

One of my favorite effects of turmeric is its anti-inflammatory abilities. People who have joint or body pain will get relief, and lots of it. Did you know by taking turmeric consistently you will lower your chances of getting Alzheimer's disease by a whopping 30%? Turmeric lowers your chances of getting heart disease. If you are looking for an anti-aging power house, this Indian spice is your key.

Turmeric contains a bioactive compound called curcumin. This is what gives turmeric super anti-inflammatory powers. Curcumin also helps the body eliminate free radicals.

I recommend taking a turmeric supplement daily. Another way to get turmeric into your diet is by adding the spice to your curry or baked chicken. How about a turmeric tofu rice bowl?
