Click The BottleTry this beginner meditation: grab your yoga mat, blanket or towel. Find a quiet place to sit and think. The first thing you want to do is roll out your yoga mat. Roll up your towel or blanket and sit down Indian Style with the blanket or towel right under your butt. Make your spine as straight as possible. Think of your spine is if it is reaching for the sky. Rest your hands on your hips. Close your eyes and take three deep breaths. Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds then exhale for 8 seconds. Let your breathing return to normal. You should be calm now. Relax your mind by clearing it of everything.

Now it is time to focus on a happy place or goal. This is the only thing you want to think about for about 5 to 10 minutes. Try to keep your breathing slow and steady. When you are done you will feel much more grounded and positive as long as what you were focused on was of a happy origin.
